Hello and thanks for stopping by.
MicroMD has always believed in customer input. After all, who better to know what the software can do—and what it needs to do—than the people who use it every day. The next step in the future of MicroMD products is this online forum. We're calling it the MicroMD Lounge because it's a place where people can put their feet up, log in and discuss the products, learn more about MicroMD and our services, and connect with other users around the nation. Please note that questions posted to this site are not routinely answered by MicroMD Support Teams. If you still have an issue after visiting the MicroMD Lounge, please contact your MicroMD Support Team to open a case.
The Lounge is where the conversation starts. MicroMD encourages the use of this site as a resource to allow end users to help other end users. Our hope is that it becomes a source of new ideas and inspiration—and a way to help us all do our jobs even better. Together, as a community, we can benefit from each other’s thinking and continue to create the best practice management and electronic medical records products on the market.
NOTE: This site is moderated to keep the content of the site useful to all who want to use it. Posts to this site may be edited to enhance their meaning or removed if the content is inappropriate for the site. So, what can you do here and why should you do it?Let's start with "why should you do it". Registering for the Lounge puts you in touch with users across the country using MicroMD products—from Hawaii to Florida. When you register for the Lounge, it also puts you in touch with the team here at the corporate office. While this forum is not an avenue of immediate support, we do keep our eyes on what goes on. It's also a way for us to communicate with you about new releases, new training and other helpful information.
Now, on to "what can you do here". A forum allows you to create messages (or "posts") to other users of the forum. Those users can read the post and create a reply to it. This creates a conversation on that topic, typically called a "thread". The forum consists of "boards," which are simply a way to organize posts in the forum. For more details on how the forum works, please click the
Help button near the top of the window.
The Lounge is broken into a News and Announcements section and a MicroMD Solutions section.

Within the Lounge's News and Announcements section, you can find information about new releases to the MicroMD products. You can also find links to the variety of FREE training web seminars we hold throughout the year.
In the MicroMD Solutions section, you find the heart of the Lounge. The User Lounge is where you as users can talk to each other and share solutions to common challenges you face in medical practices today and how you can use MicroMD to help you meet those challenges. You can find Tips, Tricks and Frequently Asked Questions, as well as electronic versions of our User Reference Manuals. You can also sign up for MicroMD e-Notes—our e-mail newsletter.
The following are suggestions on using the site:

Keep Subject Headings RelevantWhen you create a new topic, please use a “Subject” that is relevant and clear for others to understand. If you want to create a new topic because you want to know more about MicroMD EMR, use a subject that is relevant to the main idea of your topic. For example, instead of "I have a question…", use "EMR Questions".
